THE FUTURE

Unfortunately, this page does not contain any predictions but it does, however, contain my dreams for the future and what I would like to do in said future.

MY "T"

When trying to figure out where to go,
I decided to illustrate my skillset and dreams using the "T" shape competence model.

My initial thought was to fill the "dash" with all of the skills I have had the fortune to acquire through the years, but when typing in all of these different skills, I realized that I had outgrown some of those skillsets in terms of passion.

So I decided to strip my "dash" down to the core of the things that I am passionate about and want to stick around to become an expert in.

When It comes to the "I" shape of the T.
Oh, I could write a novel about leading teams, but I will try to sum it up to the simple word of calling.

I have Lead before but only recently have I gotten to lead with knowledge behind how I lead.

If I were to describe my future, it would be one where I am constantly striving to be my best self in order to become a leader that inspires, uplifts, and drives others to be their best self too.

I may not be the expert, but I dream to be so good at it, that others look to me to grow in their leadership one day.

I am a Design Lead that fills my days with responsibilities such as being a Team Coach and Facilitator who helps the team by supporting them in collaboration and delivery, not by micromanaging but by trusting and gently nudging in the right direction.

I know my team's needs and we work together in growing and reaching our collective and individual goals.

We start the days with check-ins and stand-ups. Sharing our challenges and our wins.
We celebrate when it's good and we come together when i's not to solve it as a unit.

I teach and get taught new things and I feel excited to be part of a workplace where Monday feels like another opportunity to show up for myself and others.
